A sculpted butterfly wing pendant handcrafted from polymer clay and highlighted in iridescent blue and purple with metallic silver and gold on the veins. A Desert Rubble Original Design, I really love these wings....I am really fond of asymmetrical pieces, I love a shape that hangs longer on one side, and that makes these wings perfect. This particular wing actually has quite a lot of purple lower on the wing that did not photograph well, so I want it to be clear, this wing may look blue, but it's only blue where the texture is, then it blends into purple. it's a really nice combo with the silver blending into gold on the veins...I wish this had photographed better, it's a lovely piece.
Like all my stuff, this was antiqued and finished with several coats of sealer.
